I began my sign painting career after finishing art studies in Toronto, Ontario. My fascination with lettering lead me to enroll at George Brown College in the sign graphics program, which lead to a job in the industry.

After acquiring experience in various sign shops I opened my own business specializing in custom signage.

Eventually I was approached by the feature film industry (IATSE Local 873) in Toronto to hand letter some picture car vehicles on a movie set. What started out as a two day project turned into six months of work and an offer of permanent union membership. The environment enabled me to acquire other skills related to scenic set painting such as painting vintage style distressed signage required for various period films being shot. Today I enjoy an exciting blend of commercial sign production along with requests for vintage style signage for special events or just for personal enjoyment.
